Please submit your sail colours!
Once you have ordered your new sails, please let Jamie Nimmo know what they look like. Images of boats are useful for the race deck and help people find unique colours. 2007 Season Sail Ordering Procedure

  • At the 2003 AGM the Class approved a sail maker change to Rolly Taskers Sails in Thailand. This sail maker is offering a choice of eight colours including white.
  • The current SVOD Class rules now allow sails to be replaced after three season's use instead of four.
  • Split sail panels (vertical or horizontal) are not permitted and the sail number can only be placed in the prescribed position (see attached order form) There is a requirement that the sail number needs to be in a contrasting colour to ensure that it stands out. If your chosen preference in the opinion of the sail maker is not contrasting they have instructions to substitute a more appropriate colour.
  • Sails are made out of 5oz US Dacron cloth and come complete with taped slides, non tapered battens, telltales on luff and leech, sail bag, windows large rectangular and small round and sail numbers (choice of colours)
  • Boom bags (to protect the sail on the mooring) are also available at an inclusive price of ?27.50
  • The bulk purchase prices for the 2007 season are listed below. These prices include V A Warren's handling costs. If there are any substantial changes to the duty, freight charges, VAT or to the exchange rate V A Warren and Son will adjust the final price accordingly.
